The Rabine Group Volunteers with Feed My Starving Children
(Schaumburg, IL) – The Rabine Group team celebrated Valentine’s Day last month by lending a helping hand to the Feed My Starving Children organization on February 15th, 2018. Feed My Starving Children aims to eradicate child hunger worldwide by receiving, packing, and distributing food resources to children and families in over 95 countries.
Employees spent the afternoon packaging donated rice, grains, veggies, pasta, and other food stuffs to aid Feed My Starving Children’s fight against global hunger. The event had teammates rolling up their sleeves, suiting up in food-handling gear, and working together to pack, label, and seal nutritious meals. Overall, the Rabine team packed 23,976 meals – enough to feed 56 children for an entire year!
Giving back to local communities and serving those in need is a guiding principal at the Rabine Group. With the establishment of the Rabine Group Foundation (RGF) in 2007, the company invests time, talent, and funds towards children, disabled, homeless, and veterans. Partnering with local nonprofits like Feed My Starving Children’s Schaumburg Branch, the RGF is proud to work with employees, community organizations, and local leadership to make a positive difference outside of the workplace!
